Yet I've read great reviews regarding how good the remaster sounds -Here and Reddit- I don't think it is "better" than the original. It is just different.
Both have advantages and disadvantages, but after I listened to both in an A/B comparison I noticed the remaster is missing the sort of "loudness" compression of the original which causes the top end of all guitar effects sound like being fade out between the mix, Including the fuzz in the bass on Exit Music, Jonny's tremolo/phaser in Lucky, etc.

I do hear Thom's voice better as well as some parts of songs, but I definitely don't hear what they claim to be better bass & "separation".

However, the remaster is clean and very enjoyable and comes in an amazing package which got me very excited even tough I have the original already. If you have a chance to find one of these, don't think twice.

The "Made in Poland" pressing is not audiophile perfect but it is decent. And records are very heavy.

Needless to say, a gorgeous album, and in my view arguably one of the best of it's time. The sound is pretty good. Definitely surface noise on the quieter tracks but a cleaning may Aleviate this. Overall, worth a purchase. That said, there is one significant hitch. The cardboard inner sleeves are absurdly and irresponsibly tight. It resulted in surface scuffs when pulling them out, assuming they weren't created when putting them IN their sleeves in the first place. I immediately put them in poly sleeves that could comfortably accommodate them.

Pure class. Awesome sound. Just buy this pressing and enjoy this masterpiece.

One of the best pressings I own. I felt like I was listening to it the way it was meant to be heard. Nice separation between instruments and Yorke's vocals. Godrich's production is otherworldly.

I have one that matches all the info here (180, matrix, matte, sounds phenomenal, etc.) but does not have the die cut inners. Is this the case with anyone else's copy?

This pressing uses the same stampers from EMI UK which are cut hot!
On the good side, the low and hi freqs are unbelievable and you get a lot of detail and definition. You can hear the guitars really nice and clear.
On the bad side, hot cuts tend to generate distortion in the mid freqs and this one is not the exception. Therefore some details in the sticks such as the snares during heavy and loud parts are kinda missing ore faded. However I don't think any of these should be considered "bad". It is just different to other releases such as Capitol (from the vaults) and current XL (which actually uses less groove on each side of the vinyl itself).

To middlepillar (and other curious folks), in answer to your question about differentiating between the black vinyl and the blue vinyl, the hype sticker should indicate blue vinyl.
